Christopher Cowled
Dr Christopher Cowled is a research scientist at the CSIRO Australian Animal Health Laboratory in Geelong, Victoria. His research interests span genomics, transcriptomics and virus-host interaction, with a particular focus on bioinformatics of high-throughput sequencing data. By studying the changes in mRNA and microRNA expression patterns during acute viral infections, Chris aims to shed light on mechanisms underlying different disease outcomes, and to identify biomarkers for early diagnosis.
